Card has some staining on the front, a pretty serious crease, and a bit of paper-loss on the back, but all in all it's a not bad, and it's a Yankee.

I had to look Joe up. He had just won a World Series ring with the Yanks in 1951. Doesn't look like that brightened his outlook on life any.
ReplyDeleteThis is all just conjecture, but his card back it sounds like he spends a good amount of time as a basketball referee in Scranton, PA. His face looks about right given that.
