Raiders of '52 Topps

This blog is meant to chronicle my attempt to complete the 1952 Topps set.  My goal is to complete it before I turn 52, which will be in the year 2031.  My two basic ground rules for completion are as follows:

(1) I don't care about condition.  So long as the card is real, and I can tell what card it is, I'm good with it.  I'd prefer it not be in more than one piece and held to together by scotch tape, but that is not a deal breaker.

(2) I don't want to spend a lot of money.  Obviously that will become an issue at some point, but my hope is that this concern can be offset by ground rule #1 above.

(3) I designate a "condition" to each card.  My grading is much more lax than most.  So yes, I know a card I mark as "good" may very well be "poor."  I don't care.  It's more or less relative to the other cards listed here and not PSA standards.
