This card is in pretty nice shape.  Corners are all dinged, but far from terrible, and it has nice coloring.  It's just extremely off-centered, which (and this may be ridiculous) bugs a lot more than creasing and other imperfections.

Stats: 5 seasons, 110 hits, 11 home runs

  1. Creasing bugs the hell out of me, while off-center I barely see.

It might be because during '70s, pulling off-center cards out of packs was regular occurrence.

  2. I think it has more to do with this set, then as a general rule for me. After reading your comment, I immediately thought of the first '75 Brett I ever owned, which is very off-centered and remains one of my personal favorites. The off-centered cards just bother me more with this '52 design.
