I don't really know what I was thinking when I went so high to get this card. It's one I've wanted for awhile, and just got sick of losing out. I'm sure with a little more patience I could have found a copy closer to the $5 range I would have preferred, but I'll live. As it is, the card is in very nice shape. Kennedy was never an All-Star, but he stuck around for sixteen seasons, though it looks like he was only an every day starter in three of those years. Bob got to watch a lot of major league baseball.

ReplyDeleteSeriously sometimes every vintage set builder dents his budget. Lord knows I do quite a bit. The bargains make up for it though, right?
@Commishbob For sure. And there's a difference between denting your budget by paying a fair price, and doing so by over-paying. As long as it's the former I don't worry about it too much.
