Yes, this is in fact my 3rd copy of Ed Lopat. By happy accident this one is also my first "black back" copy, which is a nice little discovery after seeing my first two were red backs. I probably should have been paying better attention to that distinction earlier than this, but better late than never I guess.
How in the world I'm able to keep picking up '52 Ed Lopat's for under $5 is beyond me, but I'll happily write the post for a 50th copy if chance and circumstance allows for it. Any Yankee with a baseball-reference page as impressive as Lopat shouldn't be so disregarded in this set.
Anyone who spent half a season with the Orioles and was a favorite of my Dad is OK by me.
