Some kid made a good number of editorial revisions on this Floyd Baker card. A common trait on cards of guys who were traded shortly after the '52 season. "Boston (A.L.)" on the top front of the card indicates where Baker landed mid-way through the '53 season. I'm not sure what else was added and removed on the back, though I'm guessing the "JM" was to distinguish this card from a siblings.
Floyd has a signature worthy of being on historical documents in a museum, unlike the sad excuse for signatures today's players tend to scribble out. I find something about this card somewhat appealing, but not enough so to seek out an upgrade even in this sorry state. Unless one falls in my lap for a can't ignore price, this is the copy I'll be going with.
