Despite some pretty severe water damage down the entire right side of this card, it still set me back an unpleasant amount of money. At some point, I'm going to have to start coughing up this amount and more, but that's all the more reason for me to be frugle now with these 2nd series cards and commons. I recently watched two horrible looking high #'s, both creased and defaced with marker, sell for $30+ on ebay. This blog may start seeing an update every other month when it comes time to start hunting the hi numbers.

Someone once commented that Bauer's face looked like a 'clenched fist'. He doesn't quite have that look yet but you can see that it's coming. For one thing he looks older than 29 which is probably his age when this shot was taken.
