That is strange. I've probably read it a hundred times and never thought anything of it. I wonder Sy Berger asked for that info or if was info that teams provided back then in their yearbooks/media guides.
This is the only 1952 Topps card I own. A beauty, I think. I love the weirdness of seeing eye color on the back of a card.
