Can you tell that this creased a little bit? This card is couple more top loader transitions from completely tearing in half. It's flimsy to the point of folding on its own when you hold it by the bottom of the card. This is my 2nd Waitkus, and the first one is in much better shape. I still really like the colors on this card, and ultimately the creasing doesn't really bother me that much.
Love that Topps used the 'shot by a crazed girl...' Story on the back. Pose and colors added to it make this a great card.
ReplyDeleteThe Waitkus write ups were always the best. For a time when people love to say things were so quaint and easy going, they loved to trumpet that he was shot by a teenaged groupie.
